Our Priest: Dr. Surendra Mishra
RIACC/Hall of worship/Temple has a full time priest. Mishraji comes to us from Kashi India.
He studied Hindu rituals and Sanskrit in the school and then went to Sampuranand University to get is graduate degree. He then received a highest degree in Hindu priesthood by getting the title of “ Acharya”. This is equivalent to Ph.D.
Mishraji is a scholar of Sanskrit grammar and well versed with all the rituals and formal pooja of Hindu/vedic tradition. His special expertise in Yagna rituals is our great asset.
He performs all the major Hindu sacraments like Griha pravesh pooja, katha and yagnopavita, vivah ceremony in an authentic vedic tradition.
Mishraji is fluent in Hindi and Sanskrit, but communicates well in English also.
Unlike most priest he can perform pooja as well as give an interesting discourse in Hindu philosophy. He recited Ramcharit manas with great zeal and plays soothing music to bring out the devotional feelings of Ramayana.
